Loren is an impassioned art therapist who believes in the transformative power of creativity to heal and connect. With a warm and empathetic approach, Loren creates a safe space for students to explore their emotions through various artistic mediums. Drawing from a background in psychology and fine arts, Loren tailors therapeutic sessions to meet the unique needs of each child, helping them to express feelings that may be difficult to articulate.
Loren earned her Master of Art Therapy and Counseling from Albertus Magnus College, where she immersed herself in the principles of therapeutic practices and the profound impact of creative expression on mental health. Prior to her master’s degree, Loren received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College.
Loren lives in southern Connecticut with her husband and their three daughters. Together, they have committed themselves to fostering children of color, believing that every child deserves the opportunity for a better education and a supportive environment. This endeavor is a testament to Loren’s deep-rooted values of inclusion and equity.
