A Welcome Home Inc (the "Organization"), a Connecticut non-stock corporation with tax-exempt status pursuant to Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), crafted its Privacy Policy (the "Policy", dated January 1, 2024) in respect for your privacy preferences and to disclose its information collection and sharing policies.
This Policy explains how the Organization collects and processes your personal data. Each time you visit awhinc.org (the “Website”), the current version of the Policy will apply to all visitors and users of the Website.
“Personal data” is any information that enables the Organization to identify you, either directly or indirectly, by referencing any personal identifiers such as name, phone number, location data, online identifier, or any other factor specific and unique to you and your identity.
By visiting the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the procedures and policies referred to in the Policy, and that you consent to the collection of your data, its use thereof, and its sharing and processing practices as set forth within the Policy.

The Organization will only process your personal data, including sharing it with any third parties, in instances whereby you have provided your consent to do so, and when the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are party to, or in which it is required to by law.
The Organization may use personal data for the following purposes: to provide you with information about its Mission and its progress thereof; to fundraise and process donations; to provide periodic newsletters; to provide you with information about upcoming events; and/or to respond to employment and/or general inquiries.
The Organization has installed certain safeguards to securely house your information, and only select, designated employees have access to it. Donation pages and contact relationship management databases are maintained by Givebutter, Inc, 2810 North Church Street, Suite 53748, Wilmington, Delaware 19802, and Salesforce, 415 Mission Street, San Francisco, California 94105. Payment processing is transacted by Stripe Payment Company, 354 Oyster Point Boulevard South, San Francisco, California, 94080. The personal data that you provide to the Organization will be securely stored on servers throughout the continental United States. If you are located in a foreign jurisdiction, please be aware that once your personal data has been submitted through the Website, it will be transferred to these servers, where they are subject to certain federal and state laws, and where varying data protection requirements are in place.
The Organization may share your personal data, for those purposes described in its Policy, with: other members of its organization; partner organizations and trusted third-party service providers; search engines, in order to help it to optimize its Website; banking partners and financial institutions; and if legally required by a regulatory authority to do so.
The Organization stores your personal data in a manner that allows it to identify you for as long as is necessary for the purpose of which the personal data was processed.
